Casio Exilim Z150
The Best Digital Camera US$ 250
Casio published a new ultra-thin point-and-shoot in their Exilim lineup, the EX-Z150. Very slim only 20.1 mm in thickness, Casio claimmed that the EX-Z150 is the world’s slimmest digital camera touting a wide-angle 28 mm 4x optical zoom lens.
But that is not to say that the EX-Z150 falls short in terms of features. On the contrary, this snapper is loaded with high-end features such as an 8.1 megapixel CCD resolution, CCD-shift anti-shake function, face detection technology, 3-inch high resolution LCD monitor, support for various media card formats including SD/SDHC, MultiMediaCard, Multi MediaCard plus, video recording in AVI and MPEG formats, 64-1600 ISO sensitivity and its Li-ion battery can take up to 280 still images per full charging time.
This new Exilim is available in silver, black, red, pink and green colors. Casio said its latest member of the EXILIM Zoom digital camera series, the 8.1 Megapixel EX-Z150. The new model has the features and functions that you’ll find in most modern compact cameras, all packed in the slimmest camera in the world with a built-in wide-angle 28 mm (35 mm film equivalent) 4x optical zoom lens, in a body measuring 96.7 mm x 57.3 mm.
To complement the slim, stylish look, the new EXILIM offers all the premium functionality you would expect in a much bigger digital camera, including a CCD-shift anti-shake function and face detection technology. It also features a large 3.0 inch LCD monitor, high resolution LCD monitor with 230,400 (960 x 240) dots, a first for the EXILIM series, making it even easier to compose shots and adding to the fun of viewing the images taken.
